How to look up
- Tap Check my plate free.
- Enter the plate and state, and pick Chicago.
- If the city towed or moved the vehicle, you see the date, where it went and the lot's phone number.
What it shows
- City tows from the last 90 days, updated daily
- Vehicles the city relocated (moved to another street), updated daily
- A link to Chicago's official ticket page to check unpaid tickets. The app does not pull Chicago ticket balances
- Chicago can boot a vehicle with 3 or more unpaid tickets in final determination
Pay or dispute
Pay or contest Chicago tickets on the city's official parking ticket page. For a towed car, the city's own vehicle search shows police tows and relocated vehicles from the last 7 days. If the tow was for unpaid tickets, the city says to call 312-744-PARK (7275).

How recent is the tow data?
The city updates it daily and the app shows tows from the last 90 days.
My car isn't listed. Was it stolen?
Maybe not. Very recent tows or private tows may not appear yet. Call 311 or check the city's vehicle search, and call the police if you think it was stolen.
